Data Processing
How we process personal data on your behalf as your processor under UK GDPR.
When Voxline answers calls for your business, you are the data controller and Voxline Ltd is your data processor. This page summarises our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which paid customers can sign on request.
Subject matter
Processing of caller personal data to provide the AI receptionist service: answering calls, transcription, bookings, lead capture, SMS and transfers.
Categories of data & subjects
- Data subjects: your callers and, where relevant, your staff.
- Data: phone numbers, names, call audio and transcripts, appointment and enquiry details.
Our obligations
- Process personal data only on your documented instructions.
- Ensure people authorised to process data are bound by confidentiality.
- Apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures.
- Assist with data-subject requests and breach notifications.
- Delete or return personal data at the end of the service.
Sub-processors
We use vetted sub-processors for telephony, speech and hosting (for example our voice, SMS and text-to-speech providers). See our published sub-processor list for each provider, its purpose and processing region. We give notice of changes so you can object.
International transfers
Caller data for UK customers is processed in UK/EU regions. Any transfer outside the UK relies on appropriate safeguards such as the UK IDTA.
